Our Students Matter
EK2KBC works directly with refugee kids ages 4-17 most of whom are from Myanmar, Eritrea, Guatemala, Afghanistan, or Syria. We teach English and Math classes, feed them lunch, provide games and activities (both indoors and outdoors), teach interactive culture and STEM lessons, and insure that children have safe transportation to and from the camp. The structure of the EK2K program allows children who have been victims of war and violence to bond with peers from upbringings, both similar and different to their own.
